She begins at ground zero and builds the perfect piece, or she takes bits ‘n pieces of treasures and turns them into something more magnificent. I had three gem stones from trips with my husband that I wanted to turn from a plain set of earrings and necklace into something unique for our anniversary. Jenny listened to my ideas and put together several beautiful options. She took the time and worked with me to create a design that was exactly what I wanted even though I had trouble putting my ideas into words. The finished pendant is amazing! She took three stones and made metal dance around them to form an elegant necklace that goes with everything and is uniquely "me". Best Gift My Wife Ever Received. While my wife is not a big fan of jewelry, she has constantly said that the best gift that she ever received in her entire life was designed by Jenny. My wife's parents met at Westinghouse after WWII. After my wife's mother had recently passed away (my father-in-law had died decades earlier), my wife found a Westinghouse service pin that belong to one of her parents. Without my wife knowing, I gave the pin to Jenny and asked her to incorporate it into a necklace but without permanently converting it from a pin (in case my wife didn't like my idea I didn't want the pin ruined). Jenny very cleverly came up with the idea of creating a reverse gold shadow box (in which the pin could be inserted using the needle of the pin) and then put the shadowbox (with the pin affixed inside it) on to a gold chain. When I gave it to my wife, she cried tears of joy.

I am one of Jenny’s longtime customers. I also work in the wedding industry, so I know how important it is to have a quality and trustworthy jeweler is important. Jenny Butterfield is both a designer and a craftsman, which is pretty special and getting rarer and rarer these days. Most of the time, the designers are not the people who create the jewelry they sell, and vice versa. The fact that Jenny makes every piece she sells is special as her intention and passion are present throughout the entire making process. Jenny is a joy to work with as well, truly listening to everything that you say. I have four one-of-a-kind pieces and will be back for more!
