Have you ever bought jewelry while on vacation because you loved the stones? But after getting home, the initial excitement wore off and the stone settings just began to bother you? What do you do: continue to wear the jewelry as is even though you disliked it, stick that jewelry in your jewelry box and forget about it, or work with an amazing jewelry designer to turn that mediocre jewelry into something new, stunning, or fun?
My friend Erin chose to work with an amazing jewelry designer (me). Erin purchased Mystic Topaz ovals while on vacation with her husband. She loved the stones, but disliked the settings of two earrings and a pendant... too plain and “blah.” Together we co-designed an organic, scroll-y pendant. All three stones will go into the new pendant. Now Erin will have an amazing pendant that showcases her gorgeous stones, and a new pendant that she is completely in love with.
