If you need your jewelry more quickly than within a 3-5 week lag time, I offer a Rush Service for an additional fee of $200.00. That fee includes overnight shipping via UPS.
For this service, I can generally ship your ring within 10-14 days. I’m sorry, I wish I could do better than that, but given that I’m hand-making your jewelry, that’s the best I can do right now.

Shipping on orders over $200 is complimentary.
-Orders under $200 will be shipped via USPS-First Class.
-Orders between $200-$500 will be shipped via USPS-Priority Shipping with proper insurance.
-Orders over $500 will be shipped via UPS/FedEx with proper insurance AND signature confirmation.
Orders over $500 will include complimentary shipping insurance.

No PO Box deliveries or APO/AFO deliveries.
Once your jewelry has shipped, we will provide you with your jewelry’s tracking number so that you can be aware of its progress.

I try to be as fair as possible.
For domestic clients (clients within the continental United States), I offer complimentary shipping on orders over $200.
For my international clients, I offer a flat rate that includes insurance and signature confirmation fees. Given the nature of my products, that fee is $150 USD. Sorry about that, but I am shipping you jewelry with precious metals and gems.

For my international clients, I offer flat rate shipping for $150 USD. This fee includes shipping via UPS or FedEx with proper insurance and signature confirmation fees. I’m sorry about the high cost… but given that I’m shipping you a piece of fine jewelry, the cost is unavoidable.
Also, please be aware that my international clients are responsible for paying any taxes, tariffs, or brokerage fees on their international shipments.
Even though I offer free shipping to my domestic clients, I still want to make sure that you received your jewelry… I’m shipping you a piece of fine jewelry with precious metals and gems, I want to be certain that your jewelry makes it directly into your hands.
For this reason, I require a signature confirmation for all deliveries over $500, no exceptions. I will notify you via email when your jewelry ships so that you can watch for it in the mail.
First order of business, email me directly at jenny@jennybutterfield.com to let me know that there may have been a problem with your shipment. Once you have notified me, I will generally ask you to wait 3-5 more business days to see if your jewelry arrives late.
However, things happen… maybe your jewelry just got lost.
Since your jewelry was properly insured, I will provide you with all the necessary information to make an insurance claim through the shipping provider according to their rules and process (either USPS or UPS).
Once your claim is closed, you can choose to purchase replacement jewelry at my wholesale price or take your money elsewhere. Your choice.
Yes, I do have a return policy.
The policy lasts for 30 days after the date I notify you that your jewelry went into the mail, i.e. the policy is good for 30 days after the date of shipment.
If 30 days has gone by since I’ve shipped you jewelry, then I’m sorry, but I can’t offer you an exchange or refund.
If you want to return an eligible piece of jewelry to me, all I need from you is proof of purchase and you to email me with your return request within the 30-day grace period, no questions asked.
Custom Orders are NOT eligible for return.
Jewelry purchased through my Shop that have customized elements such as engraving or a special-request gemstone are eligible for return with full refund as long as you notify me of your return within the 30-day window.
If your purchase jewelry without any customization, same rules apply: simply provide me with proof of purchase and notify me of your return via email. Returns can my mailed to me at this address: Jenny Butterfield Designs, 224 Thompson Street #140 Hendersonville NC 28792.
Clients are responsible for return shipping… and given that you’re putting a piece of fine jewelry in the mail, I recommend shipping insurance and tracking. If I do not receive your return in the mail, I cannot offer you a refund.
Once I have received your return shipment in the mail and inspected your return, I will send you an email notification that I received your shipment. I will also let you know if you’ve been approved for a full or partial refund.
Situations where only a partial refund is granted? I will only issue a partial refund if the ring comes back to me damaged or not in its original packaging.
Once your refund has been approved, I will issue your refund to your credit card or your original method of payment. Your refund should be processed within 5-7 business days of my receiving your return.

I only offer exchanges when rings arrive to you damaged or defective.
Custom Orders are not eligible for exchange unless they arrive damaged.
Rings that arrive in the wrong ring size are not eligible for exchange unless I mailed you the wrong size by mistake.
Also, please be aware that exchange items are subject to the same 3-5 week processing period because I need to make you new jewelry.
Exchanges can only be processed once you have returned your defective jewelry to me, so please mail your damaged jewelry to me at this address: Jenny Butterfield Designs, 224 Thompson Street #140 Hendersonville NC 28792.
You are responsible for return shipping… given that you are putting a fine piece of jewelry in the mail, I recommend shipping insurance and tracking. If I don’t receive your damaged jewelry in the mail, you are out of luck.
If you haven’t received your refund yet, I ask that you first check your bank account again or double-check with your credit card company. Sometimes it just takes time for your refund to post or sometimes there is a processing lag before your refund shows up in your account.
If you’ve done all this and given your refund an appropriate amount of time to show up, please contact me at jenny@jennybutterfield.com. I’d be happy to look into the situation and re-issue your refund if something has gone wrong.
