Going Too Far With Engagement Ring Twists…

Just call me Rip Van Winkle instead of Jenny Butterfield because somehow I missed the unusual trend of giving nose rings and engagement ring piercings instead of traditional engagement rings. As a Master Jewelry, I am disturbed by this unusual trend. Designing and creating custom jewelry for all occasions (including engagements and weddings) is my specialty.

Sorry, I have a hard time imagining the priceless look of delight when your special someone is down on one knee and presents a box with a nose ring while uttering “Will you marry me?”  I have an even harder time imagining the glee with which you would go to the local tattoo shop to pick out your engagement ring piercing and micro dermal anchors to hold it in place. Try not to bump or mess with the piercing for at least 3 to 6 months while it heals.

For the people who can’t wear jewelry or hate the idea of an engagement ring, before you resort to body piercings, let me create the perfect piece of wall art.  That’s right, as an artisan and Master Jeweler, I help my clients express their love, joy, sorrow, and happiness through different mediums including art and jewelry. Visit jennybutterfield.com to see all of my work. I love to hear all your jewelry stories and experience, so please email them to jenny@jennybutterfield.com.
