Resiliency and Ingenuity

A month ago, who would have predicted how different the world would look today… anxiety, stress, job loss, death, and economic failure across many nations. Trying to stay positive in these uncertain times can be hard. People are adjusting to new norm of being laid off, working from home, teacher their children at home, avoiding direct contact with family members who do not live with them, and working on the front lines as essential businesses.

Social distancing doesn’t have to mean the total loss of human connection. While you may not be allowed to have direct contact with your family and friends, virtual communication can keep you connected. Use the following ways to stay connected:

  1. Telephone
  2. Email
  3. Mailing letters or cards
  4. Text messages
  5. Video Chat
  6. Social Media

Use the time to talk to your friends and family about things other than the COVID-19 virus. I’m sure they are overwhelmed and tired of hearing about it. Remember, the silver lining in this situation is the resiliency and ingenuity we see in ourselves and others. At Jenny Butterfield Designs, Jenny is using this time to tap into and share her creative processes. Check out the latest video on Facebook and YouTube.
